5. Do! – The Best of Simple To-Do Lists

The great thing about this app is its simplicity. With a basic design and easy to add to-do’s, you are enabled to create basic and easy lists in order to help you complete day to day tasks with minimal fuss. It correlates with your calendars showing up on your notification screen. A must have for those wishing to get stuff done!

4. Spending Tracker icon175x175

This app I found to be a brilliant way for someone as unorganised as me to take care of my finances more. It splits your money into income and expense, using a simple layout to show you what exactly is coming in, out and what could be saved. An added bonus is its pie chart feature, allowing you to visually look at your financial month, once your phone is in landscape mode.

Everyone always aims to focus on training their bods in the new year – so why not train your Brain whilst you’re at it! Named ‘Editors Choice’, this app contains personalised daily Brain Training and Daily Game Workouts for your brain. It also utilises the 3D touch feature to access shortcuts straight from the home screen.

This brilliant, colourful app allows you to make a note of your creative thoughts or send a drawn image or message straight to your contacts. Once you click off the app the drawing is automatically saved to your camera roll to easily share with family and friends. The excellent thing about Memopad is the range of colours and drawing techniques which can be used to create beautiful images.

icon175x1751. Goal Setting with Brian Tracy

This is probably my favourite app so far and from personal experience is a real game changer! As a free app the capabilities and design of it is brilliant. The simple and concise layout and set reminders are perfect for someone that has high aspirations and certain goals that they wish to achieve. You could think of it as a miniature journal of your dreams, notes, reminders and goals. Best of all it is password and login protected. It even has life coaching videos, hints and tips.
