Christmas is cool and everything, but let’s be real, Halloween is the only time of year you can walk around like a zombie and not get asked if you’re getting enough sleep. You can dress up, go out and unleash your dark side.

Partying isn’t for everyone. Sometimes you just want to grab and blanket and spend the night in front of the TV. But why not head down to Royal Spa Central’s cinema to catch their Halloween showing of Young Frankenstein? And if anyone asks, technically you did “go out”! Historic Coventry Ghost Walk

Date/Time: Varies (See below for details)

Location: 1 Kensington Road, Earlsdon, Coventry, CV5 6GG

This tour takes you around Coventry, revealing many of the reported unexplained events of the city. You might even experience a ghostly sighting or two! Delve into Coventry’s mysterious history on this 2-hour walk.

There are two tours to choose from: one for the west side of the city and one for the east. Both tours reveal different tales and start at different hours. The east side tour starts at 9pm on Fridays and the west tour is on from 6.30pm every Friday.

Nightmares And Nibbles

Location: The Old Grammar School, Coventry

What better way to spend Halloween than with Dr. Frankenstein at his grand unveiling of a secret lab? This theatrical experience takes place in the Old Grammar School. Featuring a “bodily buffet” and experimental cocktails, the event is sure to immerse you into the eerie world of monsters and mad scientists.

All food is vegan and the bar will be open before the performance.

Ages 18+ only

Tudor World Ghost Tour

Date/Time: Every evening at 6pm and 4 times on Saturday (6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm).

Location: Tudor World. 40 Sheep Street, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37 6EE

This ghost tour begins only after the museum is closed, and takes place every evening. The building is very old and unsurprisingly reportedly haunted. The tour guides are costumed and ready to show you around the museum with lanterns, (obviously), explaining all about the building’s history and sharing stories of ghost sightings. The tour lasts an hour (but is occasionally longer). Sounds spooky!

The Haunted Castle

Halloween UV Rollerdisco

If you’re not into scaring yourself silly, Warwick University has got you covered. Grab your skates and roll on over to their Halloween UV roller-disco. Don’t worry if you’ve never skated before, skates and protective gear will be provided when you get there.

Fancy dress is definitely encouraged.
