HomeNEWSLOCALAre housing costs too expensive for students? March 13, 2015 LOCAL One of the struggles of being a university student is finding a house to live in within your second year. Coventry University has several student estate agents, such as Unac and Lettuce. Students are finding it difficult to find the money to officially get a house. One Coventry University Student, Harry Morton said, “I have a bad student loan… It is really hard for me to get a house.” Are the student loans not big enough or are the estate agents charging too much money for their houses? When asked if Unac and Lettuce charge too much for their houses, Harry then replied, “Yeah, way too much.” Are all students, like Harry, struggling to get a house for their second year? Is there anything that the university or even the student estate agents can do? Leave a comment with your thoughts on icov.co.uk.
