One of the most iconic shopping days is about to come around and potentially one of the worst days for retail workers. We all know someone who works in retail, unfortunately to get through University, sometimes it’s needed. Clichés that really do happen and when you’re stressing over Uni work, they seem like the end of the world.

 

    1. Shoppers actually storm into the shop all at once, to then be disappointed with the extra 10% off. Unfortunately we have no control over that.

    1. This is one of those days where when something doesn’t scan through, you get 100 comments saying, “I’ll take it for free”. Seriously, on this day, happens more than usual.

  1. Customers then think it is acceptable to try 100 pieces of clothing on in the fitting room, and then return them without the hangers.

4. You begin to think you may have a physical breakdown because of all the unnecessary madness.

5. Bringing coupons you found online on some website called ‘couponlover’ probably will not work on our tills and there is nothing we can do about that – it happens more than you’d think and arguing will not change the system.

  1. Finally, always repeating how busy it is and how much we should hate this day does not make us hate it any less.
