Drake To Refund Fans After Show Mishap

Drake is promising to refund 20,000 fans after a slight mishap during his gig at the O2 in London last night.

Travis Scott fell into a hole whilst on stage at the Boy Meets World tour. The 24-year-old rapper was joining Drake as a special guest, along with Young Thug. The fall damaged part of the set, meaning that a huge globe – meant for the gig’s finale – was unable to be used. The globe would have been used as it is pictured here, at Drake’s Amsterdam show last week.

However, Scott’s fall was not fatal. The rapper disappeared for a few seconds, before being helped back out by Drake. Travis wasn’t hurt. Drake responded to the incident by telling fans that he was “doing this for free tonight”. He repeated his claim at the end of the show, exclaiming: “London, England, I love you, I hope you enjoyed your free show.”

Drake’s management is yet to release a statement on the rapper’s claims, so it is unsure whether or not the refund will go through, but with a net worth of £47million, Drake could definitely afford it. Travis Scott was also in good spirits after his fall.

Last night’s incident was not the first from the Boy Meets World tour. Earlier this month, Drake was forced to postpone the opening UK dates of his tour. Two dates in Glasgow and one in London were rescheduled because of “unforeseen production problems.” However, despite this, the fans seemed to enjoy the show, and Scott’s fall.
