1. SAFETY BEFORE RACING

The treacherous rain at Sao Paulo caused a whole host of problems for a number of the drivers, I mean Romain Grosjean crashed driving to the grid. Their were a number of tough decision to be made by race control in difficult conditions, although fans were getting impatience, the safety of the drivers comes before the hard racing and race control did a stellar job to continue the race, kudos!

2. RAIN RAIN RAIN

Rain was forecast for the majority of the race weekend and when it arrived, it brought the Atlantic Ocean with it. Some fans had to put up with this for 7 hours! It did however produce an action packed Grand Prix.

3. VERSTAPPEN IS AN ALIEN

What can’t this guy do? Pits from P3 with 16 laps to go, drops to P16, quickly slices his way through the field and pulls of some insane overtakes to get back on the podium, incredible! Oh, and manages to keep it out of the wall after a frightening spin.

4. OH GUTIERREZ

Esteban Gutierrez hadn’t had the best of weeks in the lead up to the Brazilian Grand Prix, gets told Haas are dropping him for next season and then publicly says it was “unfair” him losing his seat. Gutierrez was forced to retire in Brazil and was not impressed, firstly throwing his racing gloves against the wall and then getting caught having some confrontation with Haas team boss Gunther Steiner!

5. TITLE RACE

Lewis Hamilton dominated proceedings on Sunday to take his 9th victory of the season. He still remains behind teammate Nico Rosberg in the championship by 12 points as Rosberg finished behind his teammate in 2nd. Rosberg will be champion in Abu Dhabi if he finishes third or above, Hamilton has to win the race. All to play for!!!
