#IVYPARK: Topshop/Beyoncé collab finally on sale

The eagerly awaited collaboration between Topshop and superstar diva Beyoncé has finally been revealed in its entirety.

The collection is marketed as activewear, in a similar way to other celebrities who have released sports lines in the past: notably Rita Ora with Adidas, and Kate Hudson’s Fabletics line. The difference with Ivy Park is being able to wear it for a variety of different things rather than just for the weekly workout.

One of the brilliant things about Ivy Park is that it’s pretty universal. As a woman known for her bootylicious curves, Beyoncé is championing different body shapes with her collection and encouraging fashion inclusivity and being able to logo good regardless of the size from XXS to XL (though this may be limited, given Topshop clientele). It’s all styled to be mixed and matched together, with many pieces being black and white, with a small pop of colour of a light peach and occasionally a royal blue.

Of course, Queen Bey being the Queen of pretty much everything, she totally slays a promotional video for the line in what’s been one of the biggest things to look forward to in the fashion world.

Even the leggings have different styles – from low to high waisted with a fit to suit everyone, they’re sure to be a sellout. The high rise leggings even have inserts to “accentuate the waist” – sure to be a winner. Bra tops are breathable, quick drying and cut to flatter and enhance. There are also jackets, shorts and sweat tops that all just seem to work together.

While the prices could seem pretty steep, remember the quality of what you’re buying and wearing, and the fact it’s Beyoncé, gurl!

Here are some of my personal favourite pieces from the collection.
