The proposals outline how to implement training for senior designated mental health leads in schools to improve prevention work. In addition, every primary and secondary school in England to be offered mental health awareness training and all pupils to be taught about mental health and wellbeing as part of PSHE classes We spoke with Daniel Bailey, a mental health activist who founded the SMIILE Selfie campaign, that gained international coverage for helping to destigmatize those who suffer from mental health issues.
