Mind charity promote Fives Ways of Wellbeing with BE ACTIVE

Mental Health charity, Mind will be visiting Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Centre in Rugby on Wednesday 13 May between 1-3pm.

The charity will be promoting the Five Ways of Wellbeing with particular focus on BE ACTIVE. The event will be free and anyone can come by and have a look, they will even get a chance to talk to member of staff from the charity. The event will also have leisure activities such as, table tennis and swimming.

1 in 4 people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year. This event is to promote the different options sufferers of mental health can use to recover. These are connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning and Give.

Rugby service manager Fiona Palmer says “we are doing fiver ways of wellbeing in 5 days… you don’t need to have a mental illness, everyone’s welcome”
