MOBO AWARDS: Don’t Miss a Minute of It!

Celebrating twenty-one years of the MOBO awards, this year’s ceremony aims to please! Friday 4th of November is a day to commend and uphold “Music of Black Origin”, recognising and rewarding artists for their outstanding achievement within the grime, gospel, RnB, soul, reggae and more.

The MOBO awards offer a chance to appreciate and showcase “the best British and international urban music talent”, and this year we have a lot! The public was presented with the opportunity to vote for their favourite artists. Categories included Best African Act, Best Female Act, Best Male Act, Best Newcomer and Best Grime Act. With a year of incredible talent, it will be difficult to pick one winner. Voting lines are now closed, but tonight is a chance to see the outcome of your decisions.

This year, Rickie Haywood Williams and Melvin Odoom, Kiss.fm’s dynamic duo, will host the MOBO awards in The SSE Hydro Glasgow. You can expect a night of laughter and entertainment with guest performers like Craig David, Laura Mvula, Lady Leshurr, Popcaan, Section Boyz, Fekky and many more. “Promising to be one of the BIGGEST celebration of urban talent”, the MOBO’S have assured special guests leaving many in anticipation, keen to know who these potential artist are.
