MTV Crashes is coming to Coventry

MTV Crashes is coming to Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 27th and 28th May. This is an event running for two days straight, and tens of thousands are expected to hit the stadium during the weekend.

Coventry is the latest to be hit by MTV Crashes – it has also previously visited the likes of Plymouth, Glasgow and Manchester. There has previously been some great artists performing at the MTV Crashes but Coventry is currently waiting for the line up of the festival to be released. There are some people that are hoping for certain artists to return to the stadium.

Karen of Coventry said: “I think it’s a really good idea, there’s never a great amount to do in Coventry and it can get boring here, especially for mothers in there 40’s, like me. Its something the whole family can enjoy. I am really hoping to get some tickets for my birthday and I cant wait to go, I heard that Alicia Keys performed at the last MTV crashes and I would love to see her so I hope she returns again this year.”

Scotty, who works at the Ricoh Arena, said: “Yeah, it will be a manic night working here when an event like that is on, but I don’t mind it so much, everyone loves it when events like this come to Coventry so there should be a good atmosphere.”

The MTV Crashes festival will be broadcasted on MTV’s flagship UK music TV channels, MTV music and MTV live HD. Tickets are on sale now and you can purchase them by going to http://www.ricoharena.com/entertainment/mtv-crashes-coventry/. A day ticket can be purchased for £10 but you can also grab yourself a combined two-day ticket as well.
