MTV Crashes Coventry – two acts added

Two acts have been added to the lineup of MTV Crashes Coventry.

The two-day festival, held at the Ricoh Arena at the end of May, has already announced drum and bass giants Chase & Status to perform.

Indie rock outfit Kaiser Chiefs have also been added to the bill. Their hits began with I Predict A Riot, and continued with songs like Ruby and Oh My God. Their frontman, Ricky Wilson, has also appeared as a judge on BBC song competition The Voice. The band performed at MTV Crashes Plymouth two years ago, and look forward to playing Coventry at the start of the summer festival season.

The other act named to perform at the Crashes event in May is Tom Odell – a talented man with a beautiful voice. His breakthrough hit Another Love reached the top ten in the UK Singles Chart, and he was the winner of the Critics Choice Award at the Brits 2013. He also sang Real Love, which was the soundtrack to the John Lewis Christmas advert in 2014, and sang at Fearne Cotton’s wedding.

The MTV Crashes event has previously hosted acts such as Little Mix, Rudimental and Jess Glynne. Day tickets for the event, which is held on 27th and 28th May, are available for just £10 – so there’s no excuse to miss out!
