The team is looking very successful and it seems with a very positive future ahead of them. Oxford United won on Saturday 1st 2014, against Wimbledon AFC, a 2-1 win. Oxford United scorers Tom Newey (39) and David Connolly (56) and the Wimbledon AFC scorer Charlie Wyke (75) played an incredible eventful game. Despite the hazardous weather affecting the UK, Oxford United has been progressing well and further up the league, with 28 matches played and the first two teams above Chesterfield, Scunthorpe having played 29, it seems that Oxford United are in store for a strong remaining season.
