Police Patrol in Wainbody

In early February, there were growing concerns about the general road safety of residents in the Wainbody ward, and so the local community alongside the local government, asked for the help of the police. Since this meeting it seems there are mixed reviews on the progress of the safety from the general public.

Although there are more police patrolling the streets, it seems as if its young drivers who are putting fear into many pedestrians’ minds. It is a growing issue that is occurring in many towns and cities that the Police are aiming to tackle.
