Shooting at Polling Station in LA


Two people have been shot at a polling booth in Los Angeles, reports CBS News Los Angeles.

After responding to the town of Azusa, police officers “we’re met with gunfire at the scene” and “pinned down” by gunfire.

Multiple ambulances were at the scene, with two people being transported to the closest hospital with gunshot wounds. The condition of the patients is currently unknown.

No officers were among the injured.

UPDATE: One victim reported dead. Four people reported to be injured. Authorities claim to be dealing with one “heavily armed” suspect.

BREAKING UPDATE: One male confirmed dead, two females confirmed injured. The suspected gunman has been “found dead”. Officers are stressing the shooting had “nothing to do with the ballot or voting.”
