Woodlands Academy pupils have recipe for success!

Two pupils from a Till Hill school have made it through to the second round of a national cooking competition.

15 year old Steven Ashby and 14 year old Adam Dunne from the Woodlands Academy school have both progressed through to the second round of the RIBI young chef competition.

The competition sees thousands of young chefs from the UK and Ireland compete to become the RIBI young chef of the year.

Both pupils study food technology at the school and were chosen to enter the competition following their fantastic performance in class.

They were asked to choose a country of origin and cook a 2-course meal including 2 side dishes from their chosen destination.

Both boys now go onto the next round of the competition, taking place in rugby on March 1st.
